What drives you every morning when you wake up and get ready for the day ahead; how often do your immediate thoughts revolve around your job, your business, your families or maybe your hobbies. Write down what you love about your job; such as, working alone, working with other people, decision making. What drives you, without some forethought, it’s a difficult answer to come up with to come up with an inspiring and coherent answer. However, you will find it helpful to answer this one honestly to yourself first. The answer to what drives you will force you to refine your search and determine whether your job truly brings into line with your passions and goals, which will genuinely answer the question for you. Then consider why you enjoy what you’re doing perhaps; its freedom or colleagues. Once you understand what drives you, you will start turning your work into a dream job.
Personally, I don’t study everything at one time, I just focus on a few things which has a much bigger impact such as communicating with people through my blogs and masterclasses, how to be calm under the pressures of modern life, eating healthy and so on. Some people may think why do you want to be better? Well for me, I don’t want to be stagnant for the rest of my life. I’m 74 years young and yes, I have health problems and yet I still need something that challenges me, what drives me from my the comfortable position I’m in, from my comfort zone. If I fail then I’ll learn something from them if not then I’m glad that I did something different from my daily routine.
No matter how high, impossible or unreachable your visions, goals or targets seem today. What drives you is all that matters because sooner or later you’ll reach those visions, goals and targets.
