Thursday 1st October 09

1st October 2009 were has the year gone. It only seems yesterday that Prof Clark of “The Royal Teaching Hospital” Liverpool United Kingdom said to me; remove all the stress and business concerns from your life, this will help towards levelling out your Leukaemia and therefore it will in turn lead to a better quality of life.

This as you can imagine made me feel very down and wondered what I would do, I knew I just couldn’t sit around and do nothing, I have always been such an active person keeping myself very busy both business wise and personally. What I could do was to work from home and help people in business through the internet, meaning that I would not have to go out as much, because with Leukaemia, you do get very tired.

So with my new Weblog and with all my experiences of life I am tending to my Weblog and giving myself time to relax. I am finding so many ways of inspiring myself and others in daily life not requiring lots of money but having lots of time. So what I’m doing, is to open my mine and others to their spiritual eyes and choosing to see life on a different plain, I’m looking again at lifes wonders, in a new light, (Perhaps going back to basics and things you did when younger do help in later life). My own view from my study is of the River Mersey and, watching the tide ebbing and flowing makes me think, whatever happens during the day, the tide will still come in twice a day.

One thing I do know is that I want to be as successful in my retirement as I was before my retirement, it’s that simple; so I say to myself and others. Know what I’m doing. Love what you’re doing and more importantly. Believe in what you’re doing.

I have always believed that the Glass is always Half Full, Never Half Empty.

One Response to “Forced into Retirement”

  1. Hi Geoffrey

It was good to meet you at the MyWirralHub event on Monday (if only briefly).

I am sure you will be successful in your retirement and I look forward to reading your blog posts.

    Best regards
    Chris
